Vacation, yo!

I am officially back from vacation.  Oh wait, you didn't know I was on vacation?  Yeah, that is probably my fault.  I have been a bad blogger ever since my photo of the day project finished.  I decided to take a little break, but I feel I am back and recharged, not just for posting on my blog, but for visiting all you fellow bloggers, something I haven't done in probably over a month.

So where was I?  Well, we went on a cruise last week.  Some of our best friends got married on a cruise ship (I performed the ceremony!) and they wanted us to follow along on with them on their honeymoon.  Who were we to argue?!?!  We drove down on Sunday, boarded on Monday morning, cruised to Catalina Island on Tuesday, went to Ensenada on Wednesday, and then had a day at sea on Thursday before returning on Friday.  It was a great time filled with friends, fun, food, drinking, and plenty of memories.  Best time (since I am not good at listing detail after detail of an entire trip)?  It was probably when 7 of us went parasailing.  When it was Jess's turn to go, she told the person to only dunk her feet since she didn't bring her bathing suit.  So she took off, but then I paid the driver $20 to dunk her anyways.  It was so worth it!  And she was a good sport.  Needless to say, when it was my turn to go, I was in the water for a CONSIDERABLE amount of time.  Eh, I knew it was coming!

Anyways, here are a couple of my favorite pics from the cruise that I took...

Welcome back. That sounds like a wonderful time and your photos are amazing, as always. That first one is so striking! And is Jessica telling us that is drink #3 in that one shot? Good on ya!

It was a GREAT trip and I am so happy Brandon and Yvette asked us to accompany them. We really do have an amazing group of friends...

The dunking was fun, despite the fact that I had JEAN CAPRIS on! I was a bit bogged down after... Payback is a bitch though, and you were a good sport too. MY favorite part was when the driver of the boat asked if you could swim!!!!

And yes, that picture commemorated margarita number 3 (of 6!) Hey, it was an open bar for an hour - I had to make sure our friends got their money's worth!!

And you performed the ceremony? Wow! Learning something new each day about you. The pics are really nice as always and it looks like you all had such a great time that I want to jump on a ship and take another cruise.

I believe that you can quit your day job, Manuel. Well at least in my opinion you should think about it. I would hire you if I had money to spend.

Like Jose wrote, I did not know you could "perform" a wedding ceremony. I'd like to read more about that when and if you are willing. Or is that somewhere in the archives of your blog?

Great photos, Manuel. It looks like it was a completely cool trip. I like the picture of the guy sweeping up in front of the big head.

Wow, that looks like a vacation and a half! I like that first photo where it's black and white except for the sunglasses and the reflection!

I want to meet up with my friends again and go cruising.

Which cruiseline were you using?

I'm so jealous. But dude. You need to go first, THEN pay the guy to get Jess completely wet. ha ha.
