March 1st, 2011 - Day 60
“Fear is a habit; so is self-pity, defeat, anxiety, despair, hopelessness and resignation. You can eliminate all of these negative habits with two simple resolves: I can!! and I will!!”
Don't be afraid of the scale. It's there to help you. How many other friends will ALWAYS tell you the truth no matter what?
I actually just bought this scale as I sold my Wii recently and that was the only scale in the house. Truthfully, that is all we were using our Wii for so I got some money for it and bought this guy. I know people have different views of weighing in...those who only like to do it weekly vs those who like daily. I think with this, I would like to see the daily weight as I think it can keep ME more on track. With my 5k a month away, I have to keep at it.

Ah, the battle of the bulge... A battle I've fought all my life and likely will continue until the day I die. But if it were easy, we'd all be thin, right?
I've kind of given up with the weight thing. If I ever retire I may take up walking but no more real dieting. I don't have a scale at home, but sometimes I get on the freight scale at work. LOL! It can handle it. Good luck Sweetie. I know you can do it. You are still young and it is a lifelong battle.
The scale is not my friend :( However, I admire your drive to take charge. I might want to consider that very soon.
I heard it isn't good to weigh yourself every day. I try to weigh myself once a week but at the exact time. Weight is a guideline but it is also just a number. You can be muscular and weigh alot because of the muscle weight. For me it is just how good I feel and how my clothes fit. Either way....whatever works best for you is what will be your ultimate prize!!! Keep up the good work and don't stop after your 5K. You can do it!!!
by the way....nice picture!
That is a nice scale! I have my bathroom scale away, but I still have the one for the Wii. The Wii and I are not on speaking terms at the moment.
