Bloom

Spring is definitely in the air here in town with flowers blooming everywhere! First off, before I get to the last two days of the pictures of the day, I wanted to get to the alternate shots of the Nectarine tree flowers I took a couple of days ago. There were a few requests for how the others came out. Here are two of them...

For the next one, it is off center on purpose. I think it would be cool if in that blank space, I added like a word in fancy lettering or something like that; you know, so it looked like a poster. Kind of hard to describe what I am trying to say, but hopefully, it makes sense to you...

I love that macro lens more and more each time you post a picture. The other day that I was out with the camera and trying to take pictures of a ladybug, I can see why you were so anxious to buy one. I want one now too!!!

Beautiful pics!

By the way - I definitely get what you meant by the poster thing - That is a very cool idea!

I just love that lens! The detail on the flowers, the pollen, the tiny fuzz on the edge of the nectarine flower, the shine on the pear blossom, gorgeous!

I really like the pear blossom. So pretty. And I can almost see the wedding announcement printed in fancy script next to the nectarine blossom.

Flowers make for awesome freaking photos. Absolutely beautiful. The projectile little, um, flower things (never claimed to be a botanist!) are cool with their fuzzy tips. Like little antennae!

The garage river, as you call it, it a cool shot. Kinda dirty in that crack though, huh? Ick.

The nectarine tree flowers seen here look more alien than they did a couple days ago. Not sure why that is, but the photo looks more striking and, for lack of a better word, "weird". Great shots, though, and I do like the way the second photo has a spot for some sort of slogan or ad copy. No clue what you might be thinking about using that space for, but it WOULD make a cool poster.
