Busy as a Bee

I am amazed the bee let me get this close to him. As it was, I couldn't use a tripod because the bee wouldn't stay in one place for very long at all and I would have never had enough time to get set up. So, this is hand held and I am fairly pleased with the fact I don't have too much blur.

The detail is AWESOME! Who knew a bee was so furry, his wings so veiny, the lavender so fuzzy. How freaking awesome nature is and how freaking awesome are you for capturing it so beautifully?!

That is very good! I love all the detail. Bees are in a kind of stupor in the Spring. That's why he didn't buzz away when you got close. He is intent on getting the nectar.
Did you catch Life on Discovery last night. They use Macro to get all the details of various life forms on our planet. Cool stuff. Hugs, Nani
