Quick Fran update. Still status quo, still waiting, still torture of the unknown...
In fact, all this waiting became an inspiration for the photo of the day on Friday. Jess ran over on Friday (I was unable to go at that moment) to check on Fran as they thought the moment was near. While I awaited the electrician coming to our home, I also waited by the phone, something we have grown accustomed to lately...
It turned out to be another false alarm, but we feel it is getting closer. Jess finally tore herself away to have a little fun Saturday night and some of the girls came over to play some board games with her while we played poker. She hadn't seen her good friends (wives and girlfriends of my poker buddies)in a few weeks and I know she missed them. Jessica's spirits were lifted!
Nothing really new on the health front on Sunday. As Jess went back to work today, she wanted to spend her last minutes of vacation from her knee surgery in our new spa. So relaxing...

Nice to see that Jess has had some fun. Hope all goes well at work today. Hugs, Nani
I actually have an obsessive-compulsive habit due to the many times my mom was in the hospital. I keep checking my phone before going to bed just in case I missed an emergency. Even though it's obvious there isn't a voicemail (there's a particular noise in the dial tone), I still have to press that button a few more times. It's nerve wracking.
I'm so glad you got that spa when you did, so Jess could really relax.
The phone is definitely a good symbolism picture of what you and we have all been going through. Whatever game that is sure looks fun and a very nice picture. I love the picture of Jess relaxing and enjoying. She and you both deserve it.
The phone, in black and white, looks so lonely, so desolate. It's a great representation of how this whole ordeal with Fran makes me feel.
I always have fun with the girls, and it was much needed. That is a fun board game, as far as drinking games are concerned... :-)
The spa, I tell you what, is a heaven sent little piece of, well, heaven. I look so happy and relaxed and at peace.
Great trio of pictures. The phone perfectly symbolizes the worry and anxiety that you are going through, that sense of waiting for the other shoe to drop. The shot of the board game symbolizes fun, especially the pink game piece that is the focal point of the shot. The picture of Jess relaxing symbolizes, that's right, relaxation. Three great pictures with three completely different tones. Nice work.
Glad that Jess had some Girly time and was able to soak away in the spa.. Nice!
Impossible to trump that photo of Jessica all blissed out.
