This is one of those rare ones that actually looks better the bigger you make it. I have it as my new wallpaper and it looks great! Hard to get the clarity of that top focal point without size.
Is that what you say, Nani, when you don't really care for the picture? Usually you have some input or opinion on each picture but this is the second picture where you've been quiet. Just curious...
The clarity of the main thistle is remarkable (moreso when the picture is viewed at full size). I presume that this is at least partially because everything else is out of focus, and it really makes the focal thistle look more threatening. I agree with Laura; the full-sized image is so vivid that I can almost smell the hot, dry air and feel the sharp prickles (or at least I think that's what they're called).

Nice, baby! You didn't get hurt while taking the picture, did you?
Very interesting.
When I enlarged the picture, it really is nice. You captutured that one thistle very nicely. Those hurt alot, hopefully you didn't get stuck with one.

I like it, but I'm not too much into flowers.
I see what you mean about enlarging it. When I look at it I can almost smell that dry, sort of bitter smell of the thistles....
