I know I just did water drops, but it was the first rain of the season today. And BOY did it pour! Jess told me that it was the leftovers from the typhoon that hit recently. With that in mind, it is was no longer a surprise as the rain was friggin' crazy. Throw that in with a little, ok a LOT of wind, and you have yourself a pretty ugly today. It would have been nice to just stay in pajamas and a blanket on the sofa all day, but we had a ton of errands to run. Surprisingly, there were not too many idiots on the road today, a rarity for this kind of weather.

I love the documentation of the first rain of the season. I'm sorry the biggest puddle in the back yard didn't give the picture you were looking for - I think it would have been fun to see lots of raindrops. I like this one though - water is awesome when you catch it doing what it does. It's crazy to think it all happens too fast to see with the naked eye... Makes you appreciate it more when it is captured on film.
Rain? What's that? I want some.
Very good documentation indeed. Darn that his puddle picture didn't turn out but this one is still a great shot. I'm loving this new camera.
I love your water shots. I hope the rain wasn't too much to handle. It sounds like you all got a ton of it in a very short amount of time.
*sigh* Well, I guess at least something good can come out of the yucky rain.
Two things you photograph very well are water and action shots. This is a nice combination of both.
Despite the fact that you encountered "not too many idiots on the road", I encountered the opposite. Fortunately I made it home in one piece!
