A little bit of a break and then some

This is going to be my last post for a few days. I might post again on Sunday night and if not, then sometime on Monday. Tomorrow, we are going out of town for Jessica's cousin's wedding. I can almost guarantee that the place (cabin) we are staying will not have internet connection so I am not going to even bother taking my laptop. I'll have the camera, of course, so I can keep up on my picture a day, but you won't be seeing these pictures for a few days.

So far I am LOVING this new camera of mine and I have been able to thank everyone on the list that was given to me of those who donated. I am still floored by the generosity.

I have finally uploaded all of my pictures from Disneyland. These were some of the last pictures that were taken before the camera was stolen. I am really happy with how a bunch of these came out and if you liked the fireworks over the castle picture I used as a pic of the day, there are a ton more. If you get a chance, please check them out here! I always like feedback if you find any of them comment worthy.

I think I am due for another burger/ice cream update as well as movie reviews. I think I should be able to get to those next week.

Halloween is right around the corner and Jess and I are starting to put the finishing touches on our costumes. I can't wait to show you the pictures!

And finally, the moment I am sure you all have been waiting for. Readers know how excited I am for the upcoming (next year) movie, The Expendables, the Stallone and co. action fest. Finally, there is a trailer. Looks like mindless action fun!

Can't wait for The Expendables! You're right - mindless action fun is exactly the impression I get from the trailer. And while I'm usually all about plot, story and substance, what more do you need from an action movie than mindless fun?

I'm checking out the Disneyland pictures on your Flickr page. I will definitely be buying a couple prints from you, but now that I see all the different fireworks shots, I'm not sure which one I will be buying. One thing's sure, though - the Disney buffs in my family will be getting an awesome piece of art for Christmas this year.

Have fun at the wedding, and above all, good luck Father Jessica! You'll do great. I look forward to seeing the pictures you post upon your return; until then, I'm about a week behind, so I have my work cut out for me! Time to go post some comments.

The thought of being without the internet seems peaceful to me. Have a ton of fun at the wedding! I remember a Seinfeld episode where he convinces his friend to come with him, "There'll be a lot of people to mock!"

I'm so glad you enjoy your new camera!

I'm excited for the wedding but also nervous. I have such a crucial part and I just want to do a good job. Thanks for the encouragement, Sal.

I am SO pleased you're enjoying your new camera. The generosity of our friends touches my heart still.

I look forward to your movie reviews - I always forget some of the things we've watched and it's fun to relive them.

Have fun at the wedding, blogging can take a break. This year I will "borrow" your guys' idea for a costume for Holloween and I will dress like a hommie. My daughter sayd she will be the cholita.

I'm so happy you love your camera. You are a great photographer and getting better all the time.
Have fun at the wedding. Jessica, you will be fine. I know you are happy to be such a big part of their happy day and you will make it all the more special for them because of your special support. Looking forward to your return posts. Hugs, Nani

Will miss you this weekend. Have a great time and take lots of pictures. Jess - you're going to be fine - don't even think about it.
I'm sure we will be talking on Sunday morning. Hopefully you'll be getting text messages but who knows.
Love you and look forward to your posts and pictures when you return.
