Vigil

Still in the same situation from all week so haven't been able to read anyone's blogs in a while and have been behind in posting pictures. I know you understand.

Vigil: A period of devotional watching

I had second thoughts about posting this picture, but I think it fully documents what we are going through right now. This has been Jessica for the last week; so incredibly strong.

Your words mean so much to me, my love. Thank you. I know you were worried the picture with Fran was somehow exploitative, but the fact remains that it's real life, our real life right now.

The first thing I asked you when I saw the picture of Leia Boo in the rain was, "How long did you leave her out there to get that picture?!" You're lucky it wasn't too long - she hates it (although it does make for a good picture.)

You too have one of the strongest loves I know and it is very touching. I love this picture of Jessica because this is exactly what you guys are going through. I love that you can see Fran's hand in the front of this picture too because even though you aren't exploiting what you are going through, it does show what you are going through.

That picture of Leia is so cute. She is being harmed, however, because she absolutely hates it. But, good for us, because it is a great shot.

My heart is with you guys as always. Love you
