Busy, busy, BUSY

No posts for the past few days and this will be a fairly quick one as well.  Why?  What has kept me so busy?   A little bit of everything!

Saturday, I was a wedding photographer for the very first time.  There is too much to go into, but I will write a full blog post on it later.  I am still working on developing the pictures and it might take me until the end of the week.  For now, here is a preview picture which I used as my picture of the day for Saturday.

February 5th, 2011 - Day 36

Sunday, I worked on developing some of the wedding pictures, and the went on to cleaning the house for our Super Bowl party.  We had a great party, but it was exhausting after being so busy the day before as well.  By the end of the day, Jess and I weren't the only ones in the house who were dead tired.

February 6th, 2011 - Day 37

Today, I worked over 12 hours.  It was a crazy day and I wanted to get as much done as I could as Jess and I are leaving tomorrow for a few days to the coast to get away and see family.  I am going to need it too as today was crazy long and crazy stressful.  This is how I felt at the end of the day.

February 7th, 2011 - Day 38

Hopefully, the next few days give us the relaxation we need...at least until we go to Disneyland in a couple of weeks.  :-)

We HAVE been busy!

The wedding picture is great - the happiness in their eyes and the promise of their future is greatly captured in this photo. I can't wait to see how the rest of them come out. I'm also eager to read your take on your first experience as a wedding photographer.

We had a great Superbowl party, but when you have as good of a group of friends as we do, what else do you expect?! Our kids couldn't be cuter, all cuddled up and cozy and sleeping. Such little angels. I love our fur babies soooooooooooooooo much!

We both had crazy, long days today. So much for easing into our mini vacation to the coast, huh? We both earned our trip today. This picture is cute and fun. You aren't the subject of your photos too often, so it's a pleasant surprise when you pop up in them.

I know you'll get some awesome pictures during our mini trip and am excited to see them.

This is just a "me too" reply that I avoid *most* of the time. But with that shot of you, I cannot help myself. I'm looking forward to reading your experience of being the wedding photographer and seeing some more of those shots.
