September 24, 2009 - Day 119

A waterfall at the bank. Maybe banks would be in less financial trouble if they didn't have such fancy stuff in the parking lot?

Or maybe they do it to make paying bills and making withdrawals more pleasant? Either way, if we didn't bank at such a "frivolous" institution, you wouldn't have this pretty picture of the day...

Just give me a drive-thru ATM and I'm happy.

I like the colors in this shot, especially the conglomeration of pink, white and brown on the outcropping - which I initially took for a dog's snout. The individual droplets of water are beautifully captured, and show up nicely against the shadows behind them.

One of the reasons I love my neighborhood is that everything is pleasing to the eye. I don't buy outside my hood as to keep the revenue here and my hood improving.

I agree with Jess. Thank the bank for having this outside so you can have such a pretty picture of the day. Very nice. Colors - inviting water - everything is perfect.

I thought it was a duck when I saw it on Facebook.

It's a cool pic. But I'd rather they just give me a home loan and I could care less about their fountains.

At least it isn't in front of a government building, where it would have cost $75,000 taxpayer dollars. A spending decision made by a body of government that at the same time says that they have to raise your taxes in order to pay for necessary expenditures.
