September 9, 2009 - Day 104

After the devastating news Jess and I received today about our failed pregnancy, holding hands on the sofa is really what we needed.

I have said it once on here and I will say it again; it amazes me that certain people are blessed with a child. People that consider it an inconvenience, people that mistreat their children, people that are unable to care for their children, etc. Then there are people like us. People who want nothing more than to be parents. People who bring the child into an amazing family full of nothing but love and support. People who would be wonderful parents and yet, are not blessed with the opportunity. Life can bite me.

There is no comment that I can make that can adequately address the sadness and despair you must be feeling. Though I hope you already know it - and though it may not be a consolation - everyone reading this blog cares deeply for the both of you, and shares in your pain. We hurt because you hurt, and we are here for you in your time of need.

The second paragraph of this entry is spot-on. I wish I understood why the inept, irresponsible or abusive are so often given children to ruin, while those who would make great parents not only go without, but also suffer such immense heartbreaks. Such injustices have done more to deplete my faith than just about anything else in life.

This picture is beautiful and heart-felt. Though the story behind it is agonizing, it perfectly symbolizes your love for one another, and the strength you both possess.

There are no answers. Life is what it is. It brings what it brings. The joy, the pain, the blessings and the grief. There are no guarantees and nothing is fair. I won't lose faith though. You deserve a child and I do believe there is still hope. I will continue my prayers and hope. I love you both. Hugs

I believe in God and know that God is great. There has got to ge a reason behind all this. Don't get discouraged.

I love the two of you so much - beautiful picture and the representation of the love between the two of you. That's about all I can say as well.
