I had another hard time with deciding on today's picture. It was essentially the same shot - a shot from on the fence. The only difference was what side I took it from, and in the end, they came out as similar, but totally different pictures.
Upon closer inspection, I believe you chose wisely (get it?!) for today's picture of the day. I like the richness of the red in the fence against the deepness of the green in the tree. In the second picture, I think the colors in the fence and tree a more washed out. I think, color wise, the first picture is more beautiful.
Amazing how different they are but I like the first one too. The colors are more vibrant and the clarity is better. Something so simple yet very artistic. Good job.
I think I prefer the first shot, if only because the tree in the background is more in focus than in the other. Either way, I find these two images nicely symbolic, as in most aspects of life there are two points of view. Great work.
