I am so behind when it comes to technology as I don't own an I-Pod yet but I am proud to say someone two Christmases ago sent me the best virtual present, it was a karaoke machine.
You're not kidding about the full-size image. The smaller size is decent, sure, but in the largest size the iPod looks huge, its steel-gray edifice looming menacingly, not unlike the Code of Hammurabi. (How's that for an arcane reference?)
Coincidentally, I rocked out to Master of Puppets at work today. I still remember hearing Damage, Inc. for the first time when I was probably ten or eleven years old, before I'd ever listened to NWA, and being blown away by the casual use of profanity.
Thanks for the suggestion to see it larger. I like this picture. I can't use all the big words to describe it like Sal can. Nice way to show off your favorite band.
I LOVE Metallica and cannot wait to see them in 2 weeks! I'm SO excited - they put on such a good show! Of all the bands on that iPod, you chose them; any reason in particular or are you just excited too?
I really like the color contrast in this picture. The color of the iPod is so mechanistic and industrial and cold, whereas the glow of the screen is such a contrast with its warm blue hue. Keep up the good work, my love!

You are so right. That looks WAY cooler in a bigger view.
