This is a beautiful and festive shot, and I like it for a number of reasons. Paramount among them is the perspective, which makes me feel like a guest at Christmas dinner. I am also taken by the way you've focused on the placemats, plates and cups (more snowmen!), leaving the tree in the background nicely out-of-focus. For some reason this makes the image seem more "real" and less staged, if that makes any sense.
Well - I thought someone would beat me to it - but your guest is right here - waiting for the invite - was that it??? Very pretty place settings. I used to do that every Christmas - funny - this year nothing at all!!!!
I've never set the table for no reason at all, but when we received these things as a gift, they were too cute to put away until needed. And of course I'm thrilled with the snowmen! This is a fun shot; I like the tree in the background with the focus on the foreground.
