Little Ones

"I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me they are the role model for being alive."
~Gilda Radner

What an exciting day!  Today, we found out that my sister is going to be having a little boy.  Going into it, I really had no preference to whether it would turn out to be a boy or a girl, but when we found out and saw the little guy on the ultrasound, it was still such an exciting time!  I can not wait to be an uncle and spoil that little guy!

After that, as kind of a celebration, we went to Squeeze Inn for some good ol' burgers.  Seriously, how can you not like a burger that looks like this:

 My Main Squeeze

 It's heavenly.

After that, Jess and I took Winston (and Leia) for his first outing in the open.  Prior to today, he has only been inside as he did not have all his shots.  He finally got his last shot on Monday so today, he got to go see what the outside world was like.  He LOVED it!  He ran circles and circles at full speed at the park; playing with Leia like he just discovered what playing was.  It was awesome and so fun to watch!

I didn't care if it was a boy or a girl either, but it's SO COOL to say that I am getting a nephew! Seeing him on the ultrasound made it so real; I can't imagine how your sister is feeling right now...

And celebrating with a Squeeze with cheese is always a good thing!

Winston was so cute, so free, so full of energy at the park. I smiled the whole time he ran and ran and ran. It was great to finally introduce him to the world beyond the house and the backyard. You can really see the happiness in his little puppy face in this picture.

Yay, congratulations on the nephew news! Did they decide on a name yet?

Winston looks so happy! I'm glad he and Leia were finally able to play in the park together.

Winston does look supremely happy running in the park. Sounds like a great day.

Also, congratulations to all of you on your great expectations!!! Boys are wonderful :-)

I am so glad that you and Jessica were with us yesterday to share the news. I think that little guy is definitely going to get so much love and attention from everyone. Having lunch afterwards was a definite plus.

Winston looks so happy in the picture. I'm so glad he can finally go out into the world. He's got a big trip coming up and he's going to enjoy it.
