Pier 39 Pictures

As I said last post, last Friday, Jess and I took a friend of ours to San Francisco, or more specifically, Pier 39. There is always good shopping there and it also gives us a chance to eat at the wonderful Bubba Gumps. Here are some of the pictures I took....

Alcatraz across the way

Golden Gate Bridge

The Sea Lions of Pier 39

This is the life

Is that even comfortable?

Cooling off

Just a bird

Oh man, San Francisco is still in my places to visit list. And that last picture of your dream girl is awesome. I love the virtual tour thanks.

Thanks for the tour. I have never been there and have only seen the city through other's eyes. Those shots of Alcatraz are really cool. That is one of those places I must see one day.

Ewww... Really? That's the best picture you took of me?

Why didn't you post the picture of the 3 of us at the restaurant or in ront of Alcatraz? You talk a bunch about "our friend" but never show him - people may wonder if he's real or imaginary!

Nice pictures. Jess looks wistful.

I love those pics. I only went to Pier 39 once, the whole time I lived in San Francisco. I'm still torn about whether I want to put a trip to Cali on my credit cards or not this Summer. You are not making my decision any easier by showing these awesome shots.

I hope your sight-seeing didn't disturb the stressful life of those seals. :) That is so cute. Did you take a tour of Alcatraz?

How far do you have to drive to get to SF?

Great photos. I've never been close to Frisco. That might be the biggest urban area in the US I've never happened upon yet. If I went there, I'd make a beeline for the Marin County Civic Center. The Traz is second on my list.

Evil-E likes Alcatraz too. Good place for a blogger-meat, assuming lots of time and money that most of us do not have.

Jose - No problem, there is so much to see there so you should go there one day!

Evil - Yeah, I STILL have not been to Alcatraz. Kind of a loser.

Cass - Yeah, I bet not the drive though

Wife - It is CUTE!

Anon - Does she? I don't know, let me look up the word!

Churlita - DO IT! You know you want to!

Lunchboxx - LOL

Laura - DO IT!

Tara - Yeah, pretty stressful! No, didn't get to go to Alcatraz...

Sonja - With very little traffic on a weekday, about an hour and a half. On a weekend when there is stuff going on in the city, upwards of 4 hours. It is crazy!

Dmarks - Of all the places you have gone,I am surprised you haven't been there!
