And another thing....

Anyone out there have a movie that they are completely embarrassed to admit that they like? One of those movies you know only 100 people saw when it came out in the theatres and that if you told anyone that you own a copy they would laugh at you mercilessly? I thought about it for a while and came up with mine.

Simply Irrresistible starring Sarah Michelle-Gellar and Sean Patrick Flanery

The story is goofy. It's just plain out there and for some reason it's just my favorite romantic lil flick in my world. I guess You take what you want from a story sometimes and I am solo on this bandwagon. I just wanna believe love is just goofy and magical. Damn too much on my mind. Rabble Rock people!

Ok so I have a couple movies, but I'm not going to say that I'm embarrassed to say that I like them because well I love these movies and they're just goofy and well I'm goofy...
1. Troop Beverley Hills
2. Drop Dead Fred
3. Night at the Roxbury
4. Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion
5. To Wong Foo
I love to be goofy and these movies never fail to make me laugh.
I love romantic comedies too...I'm always comparing my real love life to the movie love and thinkin to myself why can't love really be that perfect...

I've never heard of that movie Rich. I've got to check it out now. Good list Cas and pretty much the same movies I thought of and I'm not embarassed either. I figure if it entertains me whether it is through laughter or through tears then it is a good movie. It doesn't have to be a blockbuster in order to be qualified as good. Look at a movie like Rocky Horror Picture Show. Is it the best out there - no but it has a following. So never be afraid to admit you like something. I'm a believer in there is something out there for everyone.

Walk Like A Man. When Manuel wanted to watch it with me the first time, I gave him a bad time - how good could a movie about a guy who gets raised by wolves and has to incorporate back into the real world be? Well, alas, I laughed my butt off and quote in often in daily conversation.

"I'm sorry. I will try harder."

"For ever and ever and ever and see you later."

"I don't know where it is. Will you take me there?"

"Oh!" "No, B."

And the howling while singing hymns in church is classic...

The Muppets Christmas Carol. I get warm fuzzies whenever I see it.

Ok, so I'm not as curmudeonly as I thought.

Ok, you've opened up a can of worms. Mine is......wow, it's hard just saying this. Ok, breath deeply. My embarassing movie is .....Steel Magnolias. Yes, there could not be a bigger chick flick out there, but damnit man, it's a good movie. Deal with it!
