Back on track

Well, I did what I had to do! In my last post, I said I needed to get my poker game back on track. I needed to play well. Saturday night, I accomplished my goal. Not only did I do well, but I won the whole damn tournament. Yeah, I won $140 which is great, but the win over my friends(who are all very good) was definitely the thing I needed. If I won 10 bucks, but still beat 8 other players, I would still feel just as good. I needed it to get some of my confidence back and I think I did what I needed to. I wish all my goals could be accomplished that quickly. I guess my next poker goal would be to do well in my next tournament. A friend is having a 27 player tournament on Saturday, and although I don't need to win, I would like to just do well. We'll see...

Yay for you. I do lousy at poker because I have a rather transparent face. I can't seem to hide my feelings.

PS. I do mean to comment more on your site...really. I just keep putting it off.

My friends have a Friday poker night that I keep forgetting to go to because I have to watch "Ghost Whisperer." I suck at poker, anyway. Maybe we should play at Grandma's house on Easter! You could teach me how to play better! That would make Easter more fun!
