This was actually really hard and would have been more in focus if I wasn't doing it on my own. But still, for doing this one myself without any help, I am pretty happy with it, that and the fact I have superhuman powers.

By the way, make sure to check out my 4th of July pics a few posts below. Some came out great if I may say so myself..

But I AM jealous. I want to shoot laser beams out of my eyes. And a mutant healing factor would be cool too!

Now you know EVERYONE is going to want to be shooting laser beams out of their eyes. Teasing us like that. How cruel. :-)

I can finally say that I know one of the X-Men!

That is a really cool shot, how did you do that?

Because a couple people asked, here is how I did it....

I set my camera on a tripod as I was doing this myself. I set the camera on an 8 second exposure, but set the flash to go off at the end of the 8 seconds rather than at the beginning. By doing that, it got my image at the end of the 8 seconds rather than what I was doing at the end. I also messed with a couple more settings, but they were preferences. The light is actually a flashlight (You can see it in between my legs in the image). I turned on the flashlight where I wanted it to start and pointed it at the camera to paint the line. When I got to the end of the line and where I wanted my head to be, I turned off the flashlight, hid it between my legs, and posed where I wanted to be until the flash hit. What you see is the end result.

I'm jealous of your super human powers too. I also want to know how you did that with your camera. Very cool.

Nevermind. I didn't read all the way to the end of the comments. Thanks for the info.
