I'm not feeling well, so please watch this video of an absolutely beautiful version of Stand By Me. This is from a documentary I am definitly going to watch, Playing For Change. The song gave me chills. Enjoy and see you tomorrow...

That was profound and moving. Thanks for sharing it! Can't wait to check out Playing For Change, and I think we'll grab this song off iTunes while we're waiting. Hope you're feeling better soon!
That was excellent. I've always been a fan of the song, whether it's Ben E. King's original, the more upbeat Spyder Hunter or John Lennon's classic remake. Thanks for making me aware of this, I will have to check this out when it's released.
I have always loved that song and now I love it even more. I'll have to check out the documentary. It reminds me of that video where everyone was dancing across the world. That was cool too but this was special. Thanks for sharing and hope you feel better.
I have this one posted in one of my other sites and you are right it's absolutely great. I loved the way the different voices all had it's own distintive sound and yet the sound never lost its integrity. If you go to youtube you'll find more but to me this is the best.

Sorry, that was Spyder Turner, not Hunter.
Ah, if it were only that easy to bring peace to the world. But it IS inspiring to try...
I have a special place in my heart for this song - it's the one I danced with my dad to at our wedding.
