I like the spots on her tongue. I agree - I saw both the full face and the part face pictures and the part face picture you chose is different, more artistic, as you say; less like an average, everyday photograph.

Congratulations on the milestone! A very interestingly-framed shot. Without seeing the other pictures you took, I'm curious as to whether this shot was intentional or a happy accident. The great big doggy smile, the spots on the tongue, and the hint of doggy drool forming on the end of the tongue all make this a picture to remember.

Very cool photo. It looks like it could go on a Jones Soda label.
Iused to always take a shot of the complete subject. Now I try and find a particular interesting spot. This one came out pretty good.

Cooooolll... I love animal pics that are cropped and have fun angles.
