This is the first of my picture a day for a year photographs. I think the welcome sets a good tone for the whole project. This was taken outside our front door.
Excellent choice of first pictures. The frog is in effect welcoming us to the year in pictures. The lighting and composition are excellent, and the frog is just plain cute.
