My first weekend with the new camera
I had been thinking of getting a new camera for quite a long time now, so when Jess told me people were going to be giving me money for a new one for my birthday on the 29th, I became very excited as Best Buy was having a great deal on packages. I ended up buying a Canon so these are some of my first pictures I have taken with the new toy. Yeah, they aren't great yet, but I know it will take some practice and probably lots of advice from NightPanther.

The pictures look great! I like the sepia effect in the Jess and Orko picture. You have good instincts, your light is good and you're clicking the shutter at great moments. Keep up! :)

Yeah, happy belated birthday. You know I keep a photo blog, my camera goes with me everywhere I go. You just never know when the photo ops will come up.

I'm glad you are happy with your early birthday present. The pictures so far are really good. It's amazing what a nice camera will do. Betweem the camera and photoshop, I think we will see good things. Teach Jessica too because she needs to take some good pics at the wedding.

It's funny, I've been a photo nut for years and just last week my hubby decided to get his own digital camera. So he's zipping around taking his first photos also. Must be something in the air!
