With the prices of gas so high right now, I thought this one would be appropriate:
Would you rather...
Get free gas for 5 years
or
Be excempt from any speeding tickets for the rest of your life?
Explain.
In other news, I got my tickets to Transformers on opening night. Well, technically it is the night before on the special preview night. They did this with Pirates. Is this going to becoem a trend. I know they have midnight openings a lot, but an 8PM opening? I almots NEVER go see a movie at night because I hate to pay the prices, but this movie is the exception.

We will try to see Transformers on opening day. It does look very good.
As for the Frightful Dilemma
I'll take the gas. The savings would most likely take care of any speeding ticket I might get. The prices are terrible.
Also, thanks for not making it disgusting this time. I can't play if I gag at the thought of the dilemma. :-)
I would rather get free gas for 5 years. Do you know how much money I would save? Like Nani said with the money I save for getting free gas I could probably easily pay off the ticket. Plus I don't speed...very often! : )
That is a total score...well done. I am planning on seeing this movie for the reason that it just looks freaking cool. They were the best toys as far as genius goes.
I would take the gas for five years. I have been relatively lucky in the past 7 years and have not gotten a speeding ticket. The gas prices are a constant, no matter what gas will cost money. Speeding tickets are well within my control.
Of course I would like both, but five years of free gas is a pretty good deal.
I had a friend named Paul when I was little. He was a few years older than me. He had Transformers toys and always wanted me to play with him. I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to get the friggin' thing to go from the robot to whatever it was supposed to be. I chalked it up to be being a girl and Traansformers being toys for boys. Looking back, maybe it was because I hadn't quite reached that stage of my development yet - although truthfully, if you gave me a Transformer and asked me to transform it, I'm not sure I could do it!
On to the Frightful Dilemma... When Manuel first asked me this question last weekend, my immediate answer was to be exempt from speeding tickets. I admit, I have a bit of a lead foot. But after reading everyone's responses, I realize how much money I'd save with 5 whole years of not having to buy gas. Think of the trips I could take! So I'll be a convert (follower?) and change my official answer to free gas for 5 years.
Can I choose free gas for my transformer? Those thing get terrible gas mileage ;)
I figure no cop in his/her right mind would give a transformer a speeding ticket.
:)
I'm like you Jess. My first thought was to be exempt from speeding tickets because I do like to push the limit and I hate looking in my rear view mirror all the time. But, I guess saving money is a better thing so I'm going to be a follower as well. As far as Transformers go, I'm one of the lucky ones to go with you and see it at 8:00 p.m. I'm really excited. I loved the cartoons and seeing Manuel and Justin playing with them all the time. Debbie and I would go all the time to Toys r Us and go through boxes and boxes just to find the lastest for our boys. Spoiled - hell yes, but it was worth it. They were awesome toys and I have to admit I would have to have Manuel show me how to transform them.
